Camp for CRT Students

Campership time!

Each summer, Skilton House Ministries helps CRT students to attend a week of Christian summer camp at Conestoga Bible Camp in the beautiful Lancaster area. This is perhaps the first time for these inner-city kids to experience and enjoy God’s creation outside of Philadelphia. During camp, they enjoy activities such as horseback riding, archery, crafts, swimming, and games–as well as Bible study, prayer time and devotions around the bonfire, and singing hymns and songs of praise to our Lord.  It is a wonderful time for fun and fellowship, building up their faith in their Savior. Every year, the kids return home eager to tell their friends about camp and looking forward to next year!

It does cost to send a child to camp, but our goal is to help out the parents of our CRT students and cover that cost. Please check out our Campership page to see how you can help.

2020 Camp Updates:

Christian camp for Philadelphia CRT students was planned for early July this year. However, because of COVID-19, we are waiting to hear from Conestoga Bible Camp on whether or not to hold the camp. Other options are to hold camp at a later time in the year, either for a week as originally planned or for a shorter period of time. Continue to check back here for updates.

We do have students looking forward to attending camp this year! This means that we will need “camperships” to sponsor them. Please consider helping in this way. Your contribution will always be used for the youth, no matter what form the camp takes this year.
